Questions? We’re here to help!

What’s the main goal of Dijioma?

Our goal is to help Igbo families stay safe online while maintaining a connection to their roots. We translate essential digital safety skills into the Igbo language and frame them through our cultural values, making learning both effective and culturally meaningful.

What makes DijịỌma different from other online safety resources?

While others teach generic internet safety, we provide culturally-grounded digital wisdom. Our resources use the Igbo language, proverbs, and values as the foundation for learning. We don’t just teach what to do; we explain the why through a cultural lens that families already understand and trust.

Do you offer customised sessions and resources for schools or community groups?

Absolutely! We offer custom workshops, bulk flashcard orders, and specialised content for schools, churches, and community organisations. Get in touch (hello@dijioma.com) with your group’s details, and we’ll create a package that fits your needs.

What should I expect from your flashcards or a learning session?

Expect an engaging, family-friendly experience. Our flashcards use vibrant illustrations and simple Igbo/English explanations to spark conversation. In sessions, we focus on practical, actionable skills, like creating strong passwords (okwuntughe siri ike) and spotting scams, in a supportive, culturally-affirming environment.

Do you have a mobile app?

Not yet, but it’s a dream for our future! Currently, we offer our physical flashcards, digital guides, and live workshops. Sign up for our newsletter to be the first to know when we launch an app.

How can I stay updated on new resources and tips?
